Popular Workout Products

Healthy living starts with diet and exercise. When you eat right and when you exercise, you'll have more energy and your body will feel better. There are different ways people stay in fitness shape, many workout at home or at the gym. There are fitness machines that can help you do this. The three most popular machines are treadmills, ellipticals and exercise bikes. You'll find that many of these machines come with workout programs that are designed to help you get into fitness shape fast. Check out one of these machines and see what people are talking about.

Treadmill workouts can give you intense workout sessions.
You'll definitely notice your heart beating faster when you push yourself on a treadmill. Whether it be a light jog or an intense sprint, you're sure to work up a sweat. Load up a workout app and you'll see how easy it is to get started. These programs are developed by certified fitness trainers. Mix and match workout regimens and have fun with the different things you can do. If you're interested in keeping an eye on the fitness progress made, check in with built-in heart rate monitors and calorie and distance counters. Technology has made treadmills today very advanced. Models can vary in specifications and feature sets. It's best to do some research before purchasing a machine. Try looking at some treadmill reviews. Use treadmill reviews as a tool when deciding which machines are right for you.

Another common fitness machine is the elliptical trainer.
If you're looking for something less hard on the body in terms of impact, you'll like an elliptical. The elliptical motion found on elliptical trainers is designed to take away the beating your body takes when running. You won't see feet hitting any surface like you do on a treadmill. Avoid aches, pain, and injury when on an elliptical. You can workout your entire body when you make use of the elliptical arms, which move along with the strides of your machine. Like treadmills, many ellipticals are equipped with prebuilt workout programs. This means that if you don't know what you're doing, you can simply load one of these up and follow step by step instructions on what to do. There are many types of ellipticals out on the market. For example, there are rear-drive ellipticals and front-drive ellipticals. It would serve you well to go through a handful of elliptical reviews to see what's out there.

An exercise bike focuses on a very specific niche.
Cyclists typically enjoy working out on exercise bikes. Exercise bikes primarily come in three types of form factors. The different designs and forms of exercise bikes are upright, indoor, and recumbent. Each of these designs serves a different type of user. Those looking for recreational workout sessions might find upright exercise bikes to their liking. Most folks will easily be able to use one of these. If you're training for a marathon or a race, the indoor cycle will provide you with a more intense workout. You're in more of a racing position. Recumbent exercise bikes are a more recent development, and the focus on their design is on ergonomics, providing good support for the back and body. You'll find the position taken on these bikes to be very comfortable.

Staying in good fitness shape is a state of mind. A determined and disciplined approach to exercise can help. If you don't know where to start or what to do, consider working out or purchasing a treadmill, elliptical, or an exercise bike. You'll be blown away. Your workouts will be fun and engaging. Treat your body right, keep it in good shape, and you'll feel better because of it.

Natural Fat loss Supplements: Supplementing Without Using Stimulants!

There is something like 108 MILLION Americans currently who sadly are either slightly overweight, or struggling with obesity. That's 61% of adults! Sadly, around 95% of those who can reduce weight will gain it back within a couple of years. The thought of that really frustrates me to a point that I'd rather not discus. A great element in that reason is eating unhealthy is thrown in our faces every three minutes on Tv also in allot of the printed ads. In addition in today's economy it is inexpensive. One more reason why people fail to maintain the weight they have quite literally worked their butts off to lose, could be the a shortage of education and guidance. Be it the possible lack of furthering their knowledge in nutrition, or even lack of edcuation in supplements that support fat burning and maintenance.

Currently, $30 Billion per year will be spent yearly in the weight-loss industry! Allot of that money is wasted searching for the appropriate supplements, the best mixture of supplements, or just wasted on supplements that honestly just don't do anything whatsoever! I figured I would help you save some of that money that you'd have spent attempting to find that "Magic Diet Pill" and just provide you with three fantastic All-natural Supplements that do a fantastic job in aiding in fat loss and maintenance.

The first supplement is 7-Keto (7-ketohydroepiandrosterone).

7-keto can be described as safe DHEA metabolite and it has been the topic of many research and scientific studies. 7-keto, like DHEA, plays a role in an array of the bodies functions, for example immune response, memory, skin integrity, and most importantly for the topic of this article, weight loss! 7-keto is shown to improve the activity of enzymes linked to metabolism, and has also been proven to help rest your set-point, that is certainly HUGE

Basically, the set point theory states that individual's metabolism will accommodate conserve a weight where it's comfortable. When you restrict our calories so as to shed unwanted weight, our metabolism falls in an attempt to preserve our fat stores. This is just the bodies/nature's way of preventing starvation, which will never change. After we have lost your weight and we are no longer cutting our calories, the rate of metabolism will rise returning to a higher rate of function. The body contains a genetically determined set-point weight that's controlled by metabolic hormones and fat cell enzymes. 7-keto has been shown to increase the activity of those enzymes associated with the metabolism.

It's also been shown that DHEA and its derivatives (7-keto) aid in body weight regulation. In some studies of DHEA, it's caused laboratory animals to eat more, yet suppressed their weight gain. In one study without DHEA, a 50% decrease in the amount of food which had been took in within a 24 hour period to achieve the same degree of bodyweight changes seen when taking DHEA. But, individuals taking DHEA didn't change their food intake to get to the required weight-loss effects.
7-keto has been proven to assist in the activity within the T-3 thyroid hormone. 7-keto offers many of DHEA's benefits without converting to the sex hormones estrogen and testosterone, which means that it's safe for both males and females! There have been no extended side effects shown as a result in taking 7-Keto. In everything I have read, and people which i have spoke with, both men and women, the suggested daily dosage is 1,000mg 2x daily.

The next supplement is CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid).

CLA is a naturally sourced found in animal and dairy fats such as beef, dairy food, poultry, eggs and corn oil. Our intestine produces CLA naturally from linoleic acid. It does not make a big fat cell little, what it does is prevent a little fat cell from getting big. There have been studies which have shown that to truly obtain the desired effect of CLA on your body fat you should take around 4,000mg, or 4g of CLA daily. Since CLA is a fatty acid, you'll want to take it regularly for around 2-3 weeks and let for it to accumulate in the body before you start to see results. It's been suggested to have some sort of fiber supplement or increase the level of fiber in your diet to help assisted in the "Extraction" of the metabolized fat through your body. Honestly though, that's something that should be done whatever the form of weight loss supplement. It truly plays a key role in the losing excess weight.
CLA has also been shown to increase metabolism, decrease abdominal fat, enhance muscle growth, reduce cholesterol and triglycerides, lowers insulin resistance, helps reduce food-induced allergic attacks, and improves the immune system as well. If you are interested in taking CLA to assist with weightloss, take into account that it isn't a magic pill, and you will need to begin a program of diet and exercise in order to successfully drop some weight and keep it off.

The third and final supplement that I'm going to mention in this article is L-Carnitine.

The primary and most important role Carnitine plays in the body is the oxidation, or also known as Burning, Melting off, or even in a few circle Dissolving of fat Naturally! As soon as the fat is oxidized it is used like a natural source of energy. I'm a big fan of L-Carnitine, I've been taking it regularly for several years.

Basically what L-Carnitine does is it takes unwanted fat in our bodies to the "Fat Furnace" (mitochondria) in our cells. Once the fat is thrown into the "furnace" it is burned and turned into a natural supply of "coal" or energy, in turn also giving us more energy during workouts and many other aspects in daily living. No matter the amount exercising or how "on-point" you have your daily diet, should the fat doesn't arrive at the mitochondria it can't be oxidized (Burned)!
Supplementing your diet with L-Carnitine can release the stored energy the body needs to build new muscular tissue, enhance your energy levels and accelerate natural weight loss. There's no unintended side effects of prolonged supplementation of L-Carnitine because it's natural and readily found in your body. Starting off with at the very least 1,500mg of L-Carnitine daily is an excellent starting point. If you have metabolic resistance about 3,000-7,000mg daily is necessary. Personally, i prefer to take 2,000-3,500mg daily, I've got fantastic results doing so.

These three All Natural Weightloss pills are great by themselves or taken with other products. I chose to write about these three today because I'm currently taking them. I have stacked them together in the past and love the final results which i 've got from doing so. What I personally do is take 4g of AST CLA daily, breaking that up into two doses, one with breakfast and the other with my afternoon meal. For the L-Carnitine, I use Dymatize Nutrition's Acetyl L-Carnitine. I take three caps (1,500mg) with breakfast and another 3 caps with lunch. For the 7-Keto (DHEA) I use Twinlab's 7-Keto. I take that one cap with breakfast, so six pills with breakfast in total, and another around an hour before I go to bed. I take one before I go to bed because I've discovered that I sleep better. I'm unsure if there are studies to show that it aids in proper R.E.M. sleep, but I definitely sleep good doing it that way.

Like I've said several times throughout this article, if you're considering taking some of these supplements to help you with weight reducing, take into account that it certainly is not a magic pill, and you should really need to take up a program of diet and exercise so as to successfully shed pounds and keep it off. With that being said, Don't hesitate to comment or ask any queries you could have regarding anything that was stated in this content. Thanks for taking time to read this and I hope it helps you make an informed decision what is the best approach to take as far as supplementing for losing weight.

Five Steps To A More Muscular Body

Photo credit: Neeta Lind / Foter.com / CC BY

The next time you visit your gym we want you to ask a Fitness Instructor how many times they are quizzed on how to build muscle by gym members who are lost. You'll be shocked at the answer. It seems the advances made in science over the last twenty five years or so have not made a speck of difference to most people, who are still completely lost on this subject.

Today we are going to run through the prove basics and help you get more from your training if your goal is to add size.

There are a number of different strategies you can use, a number of different physics which work. In fact one of the biggest barriers in the fitness industry in general is the sheer amount of different styles and techniques out there. What should be a great asset and provide great variation instead serves only to confuse the majority and they end up getting nowhere, unable to commit to anything for fear that in three months they'll be told everything they have been doing is 'wrong'.

So don't be fooled. There are a number of ways to build a better body, there is not just one right way of training and a million wrong ways. Realizing that fact will help you get past the first stumbling block you'll encounter on your path to building a better body, erasing the self doubt in what you are doing and why you are doing it.

Today we shall take a look at some simple rules which, if applied over time, will provide a rock solid foundation for you to build upon. We have used these techniques with seasoned athletes, gym newcomers and reknowned hard gainers alike. To put it bluntly, they work!

The first port of call is your diet. Don't be fooled into believing you only need to diet if your goal is weight loss. On the contrary, if your goal is to get more muscular your diet is very, very important. You can train all day long if you want but your nutrition is the thing which is going to determine what happens to your body.

So before we head off for our next workout we need to your next workout session is figure out how many calories you need to eat each day for maximum results. The worst part about this segment is that most people think it's going to involve some sort of rocket science or magic formula. It doesn't, it's actually pretty easy to work this out for yourself.

Simply by taking your desired bodyweight, in pounds, and multiplying by twelve or fifteen you will be able to set a ballpark figure for your daily calorific needs. Choose fifteen if your goal is all-out size, choose twelve if you want to get bigger but not pack on a lot of size in the process.

So we now have a base figure for our diet. This already puts you ahead of the majority of other people training at your gym because despite it being very simple, most fitness enthusiasts never take the time to learn how to do this and wonder why they never get results.

Now we have to take a quick look into your training program. Your workout plan, if you're like most gym users, will be in desperate need of two things. Most notably a specific goal and consistent progression. Without either your plan will fail. Focus on the compound exercises and try to land each set between 8-12 reps, your perfect zone for muscle growth, this will get you on the right track.

Those are the qualities of a proven weights program designed for strength and size. There are a couple of additional considerations to make.

Most notably is your rest. When you are trying to build a better physique the most overlooked aspect is certainly rest. Most people like training every single day and cannot understand that they need days off just as importantly as they need to training itself.

Make it your goal to go to the gym no more than three days each week if you are new to training. If you have already been training for over two months you can increase that to four sessions. You could train with weights up to six days per week by splitting each day to avoid ever training the same muscle group twice in succession, but most people are happy with a four day split routine. Those other three days are very important to your rest and recovery.

Finally we would like to bring sleep to you attention. That's correct, how much sleep you get at night is going to directly affect your journey to a bigger, better body. While you sleep your body recovers from the day's expenditure. If you've put in a tough gym session today your body will work while you sleep with the release of natural growth hormone to ensure that you wake up tomorrow a little bit stronger and tougher than you were twenty four hours ago. Miss out on a good night's sleep at your peril.

Contrary to what some people believe, you do not grow bigger or stronger while you are lifting weights. The adaptations happen when you are resting. Your body produces growth hormone while you are in a state of deep sleep and if you never allow this to happen you are ripping yourself off.

If you are like the overwhelming amount of gym users struggling for results then you are now in a massively advantageous position. The next time you stroll into your gym or local fitness centre you can do so safe in the knowledge that you officially know how to build muscle and are about to make giant leaps on your previous efforts. You don't necessarily need a personal trainer to guide you, you just need to learn the basic rules.

The Three Biggest Fast Weight Loss Secrets

Being a Personal Trainer I am often asked about how to lose weight fast by clients and members of my gym. In this review I will discuss the three most effective diet tips which have been shown to return maximum results when it comes to fat loss.

The fact is too many people get lost when it comes to their diet plan, they get sold ridiculous celebrity fad diets and never seem to get anywhere despite their hardest efforts.

The three points we share today are facts. When you begin applying them to your current regime you will see a significant improvement no matter what level of exercise you are doing. Combine these with a solid workout plan and your results will be even faster. Time to get started.

Fact Number One: It's Important To Utilize A Calorie Deficit.

If you don't know what this is don't worry, we will explain it for you right here. Keep a diary of everything you eat for the next few days and once you have worked out roughly how many calories you consume per day make a conscious effort to lower that figure each day. It's as simple as that.

If you want steady fat loss the key is to lower your daily calorie total steadily, too. Don't suddenly half your calories or your body will enter starvation mode and will hang onto as much fat as it can. You have probably seen that happen to a friend on a celebrity quick fix diet.

Cut your calories by no more than 15% per week until you have reached your target number of calories per day, and never go below 1000 a day in total.

Step Two: Increase Your Protein.

Cutting down your carbohydrate content is a good way to lose fat. This is now a proven dieting method and has stood the test of time. But there is one thing people always forget to do and it kills their progress. When you lower your carbohydrate intake you must also increase your protein intake. During exercise your body's main energy source comes from carbohydrates so if you are not eating many you give you body a choice between using fat or muscle to fuel your workout. You do not want to be burning muscle.

Step Three: Snack On Protein.

Snacking is the biggest temptation when trying to lose weight and the solution is to use protein rich foods. Not only is this better for your body than sugary, fatty food but it is also proven to have a massively reduced level of fat storage within your body.

Snacking on protein such as tuna fish, chicken breast and turkey is a proven fat loss secret which has been shown time and time again to work with no excuses.

Implement these three simple steps into your eating routine right now and you will see improved fat loss results. If you are looking for ways to discover how to lose weight fast you just found three of the most proven rules out there.

If you already suffering with obesity or overweight, then you already know it is a continuous struggle and you can't stop the war! Sometimes, it is really difficult to get rid of stubborn fats. As we know, the main reason of obesity is - unhealthy lifestyle such as - unhealthy food eating and less physical activity.

Before you begin, keep in mind that - weight loss is not a simple task and there is nothing "magical" can reduce your weight overnight! However, there are numbers of "so-called" weight loss supplements available in the market that claims "reduce weight in 10 days!" or something impossible. Most of them are not clinically tested, FDA blacklisted and use excessive amount of potentially harmful steroids and other chemicals. It is equally true for those products that claim "organic" or "herbal". We strongly recommend you stay away from them! They can kill you. Weight loss is an ongoing process and takes time. Nevertheless - there are several steps involved with the process. Here is a breakdown of the entire process -

Set Your Goal - as we wrote earlier, the prime reason for overweight is - unhealthy food consumption and less physical activity. So, our target is - eliminating bad foods from regular meal and snacks and extends physical activity. Elimination of fast food, junk food or any sort of processed foods that contains artificial color, sweeteners, animal fat and other form of fat, simply stops adding calorie in your body. Whereas, exercise and other physical activity increase the calorie burning process and burn the fat from your body.

Eliminating calories - eliminating calories from your life is not a difficult ask, what you need? You just need to identify the bad foods and stop consuming them. Here is a brief list of bad foods -

Beverages:

4. "So-called" energy drinks

Condiments:

2. Animal fat that are used in processed meat/fish

Fast Food/Junk Food:

Plan Your Workout - you successfully identify and eliminate the bad foods. Now whats next? Well, it's time for some workouts. It is recommended that, before you jump-start your workout plan a detailed schedule. A detailed schedule means - plan weekly, bi-weekly and monthly workout goals and of course add some cardiovascular exercises.

Cardiovascular Exercises - if you're completely new in fitness arena and confused about cardiovascular exercise, then here is a clear definition for you - cardiovascular exercises are those exercises that increase your heart rate, and your whole body will move during the exercise. Some very common cardiovascular exercises are - running, cycling, ab crunches, swimming and rowing. If you planned for weight training, then you find lots of cardio exercise in your gym/health club.

Weekly Schedule: like an effective diet plan, you also need and effective workout schedule. Here is a weekly workout regimen -

Should You Do Cardio Before Weights Or After?

f you are trying to maximize lean muscle growth, should you do cardio before or after weights? This question is regularly asked in gyms around the world by folks trying to learn how to build muscle quickly and today we'll answer it with the latest scientific findings.
It is not uncommon to hear a different answer each time you ask somebody for advice in the gym. That's because a lot of the health and fitness industry is built upon opinion rather than fact. There are many areas which haven't yet been scientifically researched enough and, until recently, this was one of those areas.

Thankfully, several high profile studies have now been carried out and confirmed the answer to this common gym query.

The most common misconception in this particular area is that you'll pre-exhaust your muscles by hitting cardiovascular equipment before a heavy resistance workout. This couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, you'll greatly enhance your gains if you do your aerobic activity first, so the old theory that cardiovascular exercise should be done after you've finished with the weights is not true.

These recent findings lay to waste one of the oldest theories in fitness. It dates back so long that many people believe it to be fact and still insist on doing it to this very day. However, scientific studies prove that those who put their aerobic activity earlier in their workout enjoyed better fat loss and muscle growth.

This also applied to individuals performing high intensity interval training, too.

This happens because of the release of two enzymes in the body during physical exercise. They are known as AMPK and mTOR. AMPK is the body's call to action to help you adjust to aerobic activity.

The second enzyme, mTOR, is the key which turns on the muscle building process after a resistance training session. The bad news is that AMPK kills off mTOR, meaning if you stay in the gym after a training session and perform prolonged cardiovascular exercise you are significantly blunting your own muscle building process. Granted you can still achieve results, but they would be significantly superior if you did things the opposite way around.

The release of mTOR signals the beginning of the muscle building process in the body, meaning this golden window lasting around one hour is a fantastic time to consume quality nutrition to enhance your results further. This period lasts a total of 6 hours, so you ideally don't want to be performing aerobic activity during this time.

If you are one of the many people who like to perform two separate sessions in order to keep resistance training and aerobic workouts away from each other, that last piece of information will stand out as particularly groundbreaking. By separating your sessions with a six hour period you'll allow yourself to get the absolute full benefits from mTOR release before you blast fat with your HIIT session or aerobic workout.

While discovering how to build muscle can often be confusing and misleading due to the number of myths out there, science is helping every day to make things clearer. If you were previously unsure whether to do cardio before or after weights you now have the research to enhance your results.
